Parents, Get support wherever you are
Those who have attended our Parent Support Group in the past have commented that talking with other parents who are raising children with an FASD has given them courage, confidence, and practical ideas to help them to help their children.
We hope you will join us for this *free*, support service. We have a new video conferencing service called Fuze. You can download this free application and join a meeting from wherever you are.
Video conferencing will help us to reach more parents, like you, and provide better support.
You no longer have to be in the Toledo area to attend. However, you will still have the option of attending in person if you like.
If you join a meeting using a device with a camera, the other parents will be able to see you and you can see them. You can, however, join with just a phone call using the number in the email.
Fuze works on a desktop computer, laptop, and any Apple or Android device (smart phone, tablet, etc.)
Fuze works best if you download the app from Fuze. Click on the Fuze logo <— or download it here: https://www.fuze.com/download or from the app store on your device.
(Note: Fuze does not have a download for Linux. If you are using a Chromebook or other Linux device, simply follow the link and join the meeting.)
Meetings will be held on second Tuesday of each month from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm (Eastern Time) starting in September, 2017.
We will send you a link via email in advance of the meeting. Click the join meeting link. It’s as simple as that!
